Vein Rolling Prevention Device

Description:

Device that prevents vein rolling to facilitate medical care Technology Overview:

The phenomena of “rolling veins” occurs most commonly in the elderly. Cases where a medical professional requires multiple attempts to puncture a vein can lead to painful bruising over large regions around the puncture sites. As some nursing staff are not trained to deal with veins that roll during course work, this device aims to increase the success rate of needle insertion during venipuncture for nurses with little to no experience.
